More than ever before, people are taking the time to research hotels before they book. Social Media can help you connect with existing and new customers.
Rather than leaving Social Media as something you 'update on occasion' try imagine it to be a specific customer - almost like a friend who regularly turns up at your front door.
Don't fall into the trap of always trying to sell, but focus more on creating a relationship with the reader. Like a 'Pen Pal', share with them what you are doing and how your hotel is being affected. Above all, don't be afraid to ask them questions and encourage their comment and opinion!
